Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum underwent surgery Friday to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. The surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles at the Kerlan- Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. Batum, who is expected to be sidelined five months, averaged 5.4 points and 2.8 rebounds in 79 games (76 starts) during his rookie season.
